To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in Me" (Acts 26: 15, 17-18).</I></div> <bR> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> What a Powerful Quotation!<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Times New Roman" > </FONT></div> <div> *****************************************************************************************</div> <div> *****************************************************************************************</div> <bR> <div> If we pause to think about it there is so much meaning packed into so few words. Its enormous significance is easily lost if we're not careful enough. Even those of us whom God has called can quickly read and pass those words without appreciating the depth meaning they carry along. Much of the plan of God and man's incredible human potential are practically covered within those 52 words.</div> <div> Bear in mind that these words are part of what Jesus Christ said to Saul when striking him down on the road to Damascus. They're being repeated by Paul (formerly Saul) as a point of defense when on trial before King Agrippa. We will try to magnify the extent of meaning contained in this very small passage of Scripture.</div> <div> Embedded in God's Annual Holy Days is man's incredible human potential, so delicately intertwined to one another that it would take the calling of a God to miraculously open our mind to understand them. Yet, since 1986 down through the stream of time literally tens of thousands to whom this understanding was revealed have now lost it. Did it ever enter your mind that it could happen to them? That they could lose it? Of course not, but they did! God refers to it as loss of first love.</div> <div> The Laodicean 7th and final church era like the Ephesian Era displayed their prophesied loss of first love (Rev.3:14-15). As one might expect, along with the Laodicean loss of' first love, an apostasy (2 Thess.2:3) was also to happen. It too has already taken place indicating that the Great Tribulation and Christ return is not far away -- closing in on the last of the seven Church Eras and Satan's world (Rev. 12:12-13).</div> <div> God did not name the seventh and final era Laodicea without a reason. It means "The People Rule." Laos means people and dike means decide, judge or rule. It is true that the Laodicean Church is God's Church but since it is the people who rules in it then it is an era that pictures Christ on the outside knocking on individual doors (Rev. 3:20). Not because He does not want to but the people do.</div> <div> Of course, not one group of these many splintered groups will admit that they are the Laodicean Church. Time and again one will hear I am not a Laodicean. Laodicea is always somebody else and somewhere else. But that is exactly the nature and character of a Laodicean -- both ".....blind and naked" (Rev.3:17). The two characteristics are inseparable. Would anyone walk around naked if they are not blind to this reality? That is also the reason why Christ told them to first ".....anoint their eyes with eye salve" (Rev.3:18). Unfortunately, prophecy shows that many will never awaken from their miserable spiritual condition nor respond favorably to Christ admonition to"....be zealous and repent" (Rev. 3:19).</div> <div> Unless and until one will admit that we are now in the Laodicean era and that one is part of the Laodicean church with all of those repulsive characteristics that God had labeled them to be so then there is no way one can come out of it and respond favorably to the knocking of Christ, repent, grow in grace and knowledge and change if there is a need to change and finally reach out to the first of first fruits out of the barley harvest who holds on to the printed words of Christ - reflecting the mind of God.</div> <div> While the splintered Laodicean Churches have one thing in common yet they preferred to separate ways and established their own brand of personalities. All are equally unteachable (Rev. 3:17-18). They have rejected God's command to "grow in grace and knowledge" (2 Pet.3:18) and continue to knowingly uphold the use of Judaism's calendar -- a counterfeit calendar concocted by paganized religious leaders. Christ utterly condemned them saying: "Ye are of your father the devil....." (John 8:44). "Ye seek to kill Me, because My word hath no place in you" (John 8:37). "For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believe Me"(John 5:46).</div> <div> "Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. Your eyes have seen what the Lord did because of Baalpeor; for all the men that followed Baalpeor, the Lord thy God hath destroyed them from among you.... Behold, I have taught statutes and judgments, even as the Lord my God commanded me... .keep therefore and do them, for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations...."(Deut 4:2-6).</div> <div> "Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the Lord your God which He made with you ......For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God"(verses 23-25)."But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shall find Him if thou seek Him with all thy heart and with all they soul. When thou art in tribulation and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and shall be obedient unto His voice; (For the Lord thy God is a merciful God) He will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which He swears unto them"(Deuth.4:29-31).</div> <div> In case we didn't get it the first time, God repeats the warning: "These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the Lord God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth ......What thing soever command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto nor diminish from it" (Deut.12:1;32).</div> <div> As early as 1993, the Church of God, In Truth had published enormous information to enlighten scattered brethren throughout the land. In all that time, not one Laodicean Ministers has responded to the call. That challenge is to produce Bible proof of authority to manipulate God's Passover and Annual </div> <div> Holy Days. Laodicean Ministers still blindly and now knowingly accept that the leaders of Judaism take to themselves the prerogative to manipulate God's law and Statutes delivered to Moses. They both add to and take away crucial parts of God's law and Statutes and yet refuse to acknowledge that they are in defiance to God. Until now division in God's splintered churches continue to escalate in an ever increasing Babylonian confusion.</div> <bR> <div> ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++</div> <div> <I>"One of the hardest things for human beings to do is admit error and change"</I></div> <div> ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++</div> <div> The late Pastor General of the Worldwide Church of God during the Philadelphian Era Herbert W. Armstrong used to say, "One of the hardest things for human beings to do is to admit error and change," Notwithstanding, the people to whom this message was directed still preferred to live a life devoid of light, at peace with themselves, feeling settled in their comfortable zones not knowing that their spiritual houses are already on fire.</div> <div> By contrast, The Church of God, In Truth had to admit error as early as 1993 and reject the Judaism calendar as a Satanic counterfeit. Since then, we have followed God's specific calendar instructions and commands.</div> <div> The time for calendar ignorance is passed for all whom God has called. In a not too distant future we will surely answer to God for not facing this issue squarely. And when the reckoning of time comes, those who have been enlightened and deliberately refused to consider the true appointed time of God's Annual Holy Days, using the true new moon as contemplated in the mind of God then the pronouncement of the death sentence follows and there will be gnashing of teeth.</div> <div> "For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put Him to an open shame" (Hebrews 6:4-6)."For if they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worst with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them" (2 Pet.2:20-21).</div> <div> As we know, in relation to darkness, Jesus had His Apostle John put on record a very important fact that that old serpent called the devil and Satan, has deceived the whole world (Rev. 12:9). It all started in the Garden of Eden and has continued up to this day. It's the world into which every human being has been born. And because it is a deceived world, every human therefore has a life and death need to be delivered from it. Satan's world is not only a fertile proving ground but much more so it reveals our character, our commitment and the value we place on the unmerited free gift of eternal life that God is offering to us.</div> <div> "That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ; who having not seen, ye love; in whom ye see Him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory; Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you. Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow" (1 Peter 1: 7-11).</div> <div> And what does it mean to be totally committed? The Apostle Paul is an example of one to whom no sacrifice was too great to reach a goal that exceeds all human imagination. He said: "I press toward the mark for the price of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded; and if anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an example. (For many walk of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ; Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things" (Phil. 3: 14-19).</div> <div> Few men understood so well the mysteries surrounding the promised Kingdom of God. And fewer still have had trials more than Paul, yet he said: "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God" (Romans 8:18-21).</div> <div> In 1 Corinthians 2:9-12 Paul boldly recorded an equally stunning declaration to those who would stand fast despite of all odds that may come along. He said, "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of man save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God, that we might know the things that are freely given to us by God."</div> <div> Contrast these references with the fact that the whole world is in spiritual darkness. We were all in darkness because of Satan having deceived all mankind. That's exactly what Jesus was referring to when He stopped Saul and turned his life halfway around while on his way to Damascus (Acts 26:12-15). We too have likewise been miraculously turned around. Don't we ever forget!</div> <div> What did Christ say to Paul? "I am Jesus... delivering thee from the people and from the gentiles...." Think about that for a moment. We know who the gentiles were, but who were the people? Of course, they were Saul's own people, the Jews. It is from this corrupt, murderous Sadducees and Pharisees and their paganized Judaism religion from which Saul was being delivered from.</div> <div> Paul openly acknowledged his own fanatical past of persecuting others on behalf of Judaism. He said, "Lord, they (leaders of Judaism) know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogues them that believe on Thee; And when the blood of Thy martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by, and consenting unto His death, and kept the raiment of them that slew Him" (Acts 22:19-20). Certainly, he could never have done that without the knowledge and approval of the Sadducees and the Pharisees. They knew what he was doing, and he had their approval, which he also confirmed as part of his defense before them.</div> <div> "I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus... .yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel....and I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women. As also the high priest doth bear me witness, and all the estate of the elders; from whom also I received letters unto the brethren, and went to Damasscus, to bring them which were there bound unto Jerusalem, for to be punished" (Acts 22:3-5). How amazing that despite of these reliable information straight from the Holy Book yet, God's 7th Laodicean Churches insist in using the counterfeit Hebrew Calendar.</div> <div> Like Paul, we are also part of the privilege few today, whose eyes have been opened and turned from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God. Do we really grasp the deftness of meaning behind those words? As members of the Church of God, In Truth, we have been delivered from the so called Christianity of modern day Israel, particularly the U.S.A.
