angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,  The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb." </FONT>(Rev <div> It<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Times New Roman" > is safe to say that many people reading this article have heard of the "Mark of the Beast." Most of us have also been taught about the Mark of the beast. We recognize this mark as being Sunday, and the other pagan holidays. In our quest for truth in "proving all things," have we over looked other important points? According to Rev.14:9-10, if we receive the mark of the beast, we will endure the wrath of God! If we refuse the "mark" we will be tortured and may even die! You probably agree. We need to know for sure what this mark of the beast is. </FONT></div> <div>      Did you know, each of the seven days of the week is designated as the Sabbath by various nationalities and religions? Monday is the Greek Sabbath, Tuesday the Persian, Wednesday the Assyrian, Thursday the Egyptian, Friday the Turkish, Saturday the Jewish, and Sunday false Christianity. Since Sunday is "the mark of the beast,"does that mean all of the other religions will change to Sunday worship in the tribulation? Though this is not impossible, it is very unlikely! </div> <div>      "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you! For many shall come in My name, saying I am Christ and shall deceive many! And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many"(Matt.24:4-5, 11). We know this as false Christianity with Sunday worship and pagan holidays. Satan comes in the name of Christ and has deceived many! </div> <div>      What about the people listed above? Most of  them do not accept Christ as the Son of God. They have not been deceived by the name of Christ! Yet they stand DECEIVED! "And that great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which "deceiveth the whole world." (Rev.12:9).  How has Satan deceived them? He has deceived them by false religion that appeals to the vanity. Satan uses false gods to replace the True God. </div> <div>      In the beginning before man was created, before sin entered the world, there was only one way of life, one set of laws, and one Kingdom. When Lucifer sinned, there was for the first time in all eternity division. From this division two kingdoms were formed! One was in unity and worship of the true God while the other kingdom led by Lucifer rebelled and followed the way of sin! Lucifer, now called Satan, had accomplished in part his goal of becoming god. He became a false god! He made himself look like  the most High! For the first time ever there was a false religion in the world. </div> <div>         Satan's kingdom was a counterfeit to God's true Kingdom! Satan was given the earth to rule over and it remained his after he sinned. "But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,..."(2 Cor.4:3-4). When Christ was being tempted by Satan, "The Devil, took Him up and showed Him in a second all the kingdoms of the world. I will give You all this power and all this wealth, the devil told Him. It has been handed over to me, and I can give it to anyone I choose" (Luke 4:5-6, Good News Bible). If this world did not belong to Satan, don't you think Christ would have corrected him? The fact is Christ said, "My Kingdom is not of this world" (John 18:36). What has all this got to do with the mark of the beast? Everything! Satan has given the world a counterfeit god!. Satan has deceived the whole world. Has he done this with the mark of Sunday? No! He has not! Then how? To answer this, one must agree and accept the plain truth: The Lord God reigns and has all authority. </div> <div>      Isaiah 45:19 says: "I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right!" This verse alone proves that anything that is not of God is of Satan the Devil. Anything different than God's way is a counterfeit! If a person does not worship the true God in Spirit and in truth, he is worshiping a false god which is Satan the devil! Knowing there are only two ways of life [God's way and Satan's way], it should be easy to find Satan's counterfeit way. This counterfeit way is anything different from God's Law! </div> <div>      What is a mark? In the Bible, the word "mark" is virtually synonymous with the word "sign." Let's take a look at some of those places. "... Seven days shall you eat unleavened bread" and in the seventh day shall be a feast to the Lord And it shall be for a sign [mark] unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the Lord's law may be your mouth"(Ex.13:6,9). If you noticed, This high day is for a "mark" in our foreheads and in our hands. But it is not the mark of the beast it is the mark of God! "...Verily My Sabbaths you shall keep: for it is a sign [mark] between Me and you--that you may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify you" (Ex.31:13). Once again <U>the word sign is really a mark</U>! Verse 17 says, "It is a  Sign [mark] between Me and the children of Israel for ever." We all agree that the Holy Days and the seventh day Sabbath are used by God to identify His people. It should be clear that the Sabbath and Holy Days are His "mark" to be found in our foreheads and in our hands. </div> <div>      A "mark" is a brand of identification. Cattle ranchers place a mark upon their cattle. Although the mark is forced upon the animals, it is not done to be cruel or inhumane. It is placed there so the farmer can identify and separate his cattle from all the others. This is the same thing the mark of God does. It separate God's people from all the others, as postponing God's  Holy Days has done! </div> <div>      With the above in mind, do the Greeks or the Persians, or the Turk's have Biblical authority to keep Monday, Tuesday or Friday, as the Sabbath? We know the answer to that, No, they do not! God is the only one that can make Holy appointed time, and it is God that has created the true Sabbath and the Holy Days. He gave no such authority to man. Since anything not of God is of the devil, it should stand to reason that if we do not have the true "mark" of God in our foreheads and hands, we must have the "mark of Satan,"false sabbaths and false holy days! Again, anything that is not of God is a "counterfeit"of Satan! Any day other than the Seventh Day Sabbath is Satan's day, and therefore will be his mark.  </div> <div>      Deceiving the elect in Matt.24 reads, "For then shall arise false Christ's, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall DECEIVE the very elect!"(Matt.24:24). It must be asked. Can you, the reader, be deceived by a church that keeps. Sunday or other days of the week as the Sabbath day? Does Satan know how to deceive? For Satan to deceive the elect [Church of God], it must be a group of people that believe as we do or close to it. Paul warned the Church of God of this very thing, "For such are false apostles deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed into the ministers of righteousness" (2 Cor.11:13-15). Paul is speaking about counterfeit churches that look like the true Church. Instead it is Satan  trying to deceive the elect! Paul recognized that the people were deceived by ministers who perverted the True Gospel. It was not another gospel; it was a perversion of truth. In other words, these people were deceive not by a different Gospel, <U>but by some thing they knew! </U>The gospel was presented to them in a believable way; yet it was a counterfeit made to look like the true church.  Jeremiah identifies them for us, "For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it" (Jer 7:30).</div> <div>      We know the true Gospel is the Gospel of the coming Kingdom of God!" That is the gospel that Christ preached. Have you ever asked yourself what part the Holy Days play in the true gospel? Consider this: The seven Holy Days of God represent the plan of God for mankind from the Passover Lamb to the Great White Throne Judgement. These days represent and show how the Kingdom of God will come. They take us step by step to the Last Great Day. The Holy Days are the very heart of the Gospel. These Holy Days represent the good news of the coming Kingdom of God!! It is most interesting, since the scattering of God's Holy people, we have once again, those who would pervert the Gospel of the Kingdom. This knowledge becomes clear as the Churches of God are postponing God's Holy Days and accepting the Mark of the Beast, in their forehead and hand!  We must remember anything that is not from God is from Satan the Devil. If  God created it, Satan will counterfeit it!  Look at the world around you! God has revealed to the Church of God in recent years, how the Jews have been postponing His Holy Days. After making a careful study of God's word, we have proved, the Jews were never given the authority to postpone God's Holy Days since God is the only one that can make time Holy.  It is clear from the pages of God's word which days are Holy and which ones are not. Satan is trying to DECEIVE the very ELECT! Satan has taken something that God has made Holy, and something the elect recognizes and made a counterfeit out of it. </div> <div>      We must remember the Lord God reigns! If we do not keep the Days He made Holy, we will not have His "mark" in our foreheads and in our hands. That means if we do not have the mark of God we have the Mark of Satan!
