PlaceNameGod, in Truth is looking forward to the Fall Holy Days - we pray you are as well. I have noticed that there was a number of new ordinations of Elders and Deacons in the various Churches of God.  To be blessed and given an office like this requires awareness of the scriptures that say "For the children of placecountry-regionJudah have done evil in My sight, saith the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by My name, to pollute it" (Jer 7:30).  It is verses like this that alarmed the Apostle Paul to tell Titus when choosing Elders for the Churches of God in the isle of Crete - make sure they don'2t teach Jewish traditions.</div> <bR> <div> <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Times New Roman" > Listen how Paul explained to Titus what to be aware of when ordaining Deacons or Elders; "For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision [Judaism]: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.  One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are always liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.  This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; </FONT><B>Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth. </B>Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.  They profess that they know God; but in works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate" (Titus 1:10-14-16). </div> <bR> <div> Why is the Apostle Paul so concerned about Jewish fables [false facts]  polluting  the House of God?  He was alerted to their tricks when he read in the History book of Isaiah, "The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw <B>concerning country-regionJudah </B>and CityJerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of placecountry-regionJudah. ...They have rebelled against Me!  Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto Me; the new moons and Sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.  Your new moons and your appointed feasts My soul hateth: they are a trouble unto Me; I am weary to bear them" (Isa 1:1-13-14).  Not only did the Apostle Paul understand  these verses but Jesus Christ referred to them when having a conversation with the Pharisees and scribes. "Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, ....?  He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias [Isaiah] prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. Howbeit in vain do they [Pharisees] worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.  And He said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition" ( Mark 7:5-9).</div> <div>  </div> <div> <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Times New Roman" >What is Judaism polluting today-in God's Churches? We just read the answer in Isaiah 1:14, "Your new moons and your appointed feasts My soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them." Why do some of God'2s called, feel its alright to acknowledge keeping the postponed Holy Days, that have been appointed by a Pharisee called Hillel II of 358-9 AD who was never given God'2s Holy Spirit, and is considered to be one of the many  anti Christ?  Christ too warned of these self righteous Pharisees like Hillel II in Matthew 23: calling them </FONT><I>Hypocrites, blind guides, serpents,</I> and <I>vipers -</I> because of their teaching SYNCRETISM to His called!</div> <div>  </div> <div> <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Times New Roman" >Before all this, Moses taught the new generation of Israelis the greatness of God `us laws, telling them "Now therefore harken, [give heed] O Israel, [and spiritual Israel ] unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that you may live, [their fathers had died in the wilderness because of disobedience;  now Moses was telling them they were to live  if they obeyed God in the land promised their fathers], and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you. Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that you should do so in the land whither you go to possess it. Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. For what nation is there so great, who has God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?  And what nation is there so great, that has statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?  Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life: but teach them your sons, and your sons' sons;  </FONT><B>You shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall you diminish ought from it, </B>that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you" (Deut   4:1,5-9,2). </div> <bR> <div> Why am I bringing these thoughts  to our attention?  The Church of God, in Truth has been accused [rightly so] of starting their weekly Sabbath and Holy Day count from Genius 1:1-5 -  where Moses was inspired to write,  "<B>In the beginning </B>God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called <B>the light Day, </B>and <B>the darkness he called Night</B>. <B>And the evening and the morning were the </B><B><U>first day</U></B><B>.</B>"</div> <div>  </div> <div> If the Church of God, in Truth were to begin their seventh day Sabbath count from Genius 1:14 as most Churches of God do by counting from the <B>fourth day of creation, </B>then we would <B>not </B>be in sync with God's seven day week or His seventh day Sabbath the one He blessed and sanctified [set apart as Holy time] "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the <B>seventh day </B>God ended His work which He had made; and He rested on the <B>seventh day </B>from all His work which He had made.  And <B>God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it</B>: because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made"(Gen 2:1-3).                                                               </div> <div> With God's inspired words clearly written and said;  ask yourself why would I start my seventh day Sabbath  count from the middle of the week - the fourth day of the week - "Wednesday," Gen. 1:14, as Judaism teaches?</div> <div>                                          </div> <div> <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Times New Roman" >When counting from day one called by God the </FONT><B><U>first day </U></B>in Geneses 1:5 and Geneses 2:3  called the <U>Seventh day</U> "knowing,"  <I>"....You shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall you diminish ought from it...."  </I>why are so many Churches of God volunteering to postpone His set apart Holy time?  ASK YOUR MINISTER "WHY!" God's Holy Word  communicates His weekly Sabbath and annual Holy Day times are set apart and blessed! <I><U> Not postponed!</U></I></div> <bR> <bR> <div> Church of God, In Truth</div> <bR> <div> P.O.
