Living in a world without the Bible
Can you imagine living in a world without the Bible ? Could you just think for a moment what the world would be like without the Holy Book ? Yet, that's exactly what the world had been since the day the human specie begun to multiply on the face of the earth. Down through the corridor of time and even up to this so called modern day, except to a very few called out individuals, the world, at large, have been generally cutoff from what the Bible calls the Supreme Ruler of the universe.
Think of the billions and billions of people who had lived and died who in their lifetime were not given the opportunity to know God, let alone to know about His kingdom. A world without the slightest idea of what the Bible is. In China, for instance, when the worship of their dead ancestors have completely embedded the Chinese culture even to this day. In the communist block of the Soviet Union where religion was once prohibited throughout the territorial jurisdiction of the former dictatorial government of Russia. In India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Afghanistan and the rest of the Muslim world. What do they know about the Bible ? Nothing, Nothing at all.
If God is fair, as He claims in Romans 2:11 and is no respecter of persons then why are the vast majority of humans seemingly cutoff from the Bible ? From God ? Don't get me wrong! This is a vital issue that a rational thinking mind, at one time or another, will have to confront head on. So what's the point ?
Well, when the right time comes when the Holy Book will be opened to the understanding of all when God's Holy Spirit will be poured out upon all flesh, when the earth will now be filled with the knowledge of Lord as the waters cover the sea, then these people who have been brought back to life will be dumbfounded, they will be amazed or shock maybe to finally understand that today is not the day when God will save the world. If he does, as this deceived world have been made to believe then clearly the devil is winning the battle. But it is not so. There is no such thing as a contest between God and the Devil. In the first place, how can a created cherub turned Lucifer successfully mount a battle against his own creator ? He may attempt as he did attempt to do so but can you expect him to succeed ? If the anointed cherub of Ezekiel 28:14 turned Lucifer have successfully carried out his work of deception as the god of this world and deceived the whole world it is simply because God has permitted him to do so.
Today is but a day of salvation to those whom God calls the first fruit of the human harvest. The first of a series of opportunities of saving humanity. God in His incredibly, beautifully designed master plan decreed that all human beings who ever lived will be called to eternal salvation after a sincere repentance and total submission to His laws. The Apostle Paul said, “ For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the first fruit; afterward they at Christ's coming” (1 Cor. 15:22).
This is the most important message today at the last day of the count. Allow me to read it again, “ CHRIST THE FIRST FRUIT; AFTERWARD THEY AT CHRIST'S COMING.”
I am putting emphasis on the word “ they ” This is the most important word today as we gather to celebrate Pentecost , the fiftieth day of the count when finally the preliminary harvest of souls who have been perfected after the 7 Sabbaths have been completed, the called out, the chosen and the faithful are now ready for the picking, ripe for the harvest at Christ coming today. This is our day, brethren ! Pentecost is the day we have been looking forward to when the mortal body of God's called out ones described in I Cor. 15:54, will finally put on immortality.
Yes, this is the day Pentecost when the body of believers, who through first hand experience in their lifetime were exposed to all kinds of challenges and trials, to all forms of miseries and heartaches, but with the EARNEST ASSURANCE of the gift of God's Holy Spirit dwelling in them they stood their ground against all odds and held on to the printed word that is Christ. These are they [and that's who we are, brethren] who thru a period of judgment choose to do what is right, live it that way no matter what the cost knowing that God's way is the only path to attain peace, happiness and joy.
Meanwhile, as we await the coming of the fullness of time let us be consoled by the thought that an incredible destiny awaits eagerly to those who would dare defy and stand against the whirlwind of the stormy sea of life. As called out ones, our anchor has been lifted, the voyage is on. There is no turning back, no retreat, no surrender. It is either we live for all eternity at the sound of trumpet, for the trumpet will sound on the fiftieth day of the count to summon the members of God's Royal family: the Kings and Priests who will assist The King of Kings and Lord of Lords Jesus Christ in the establishment of God's kingdom from thereon ¼till even the endless time of eternity.
