96<FONT SIZE="1" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Times New Roman" >th</FONT>  issue of the "Prove All Things" magazine.  My wife and I, along with others of like mind, accepted God's Feast of Tabernacles invitation with rejoicing at His appointed set time.  We always look forward to meeting old friends and new ones.  These fast moving eight day were filled with fellowship and comradery.  This Feast of Tabernacles was the 38<FONT SIZE="1" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Times New Roman" >TH</FONT> for my wife and I and our 9<FONT SIZE="1" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Times New Roman" >TH</FONT> Feast observed in Branson West, Missouri over looking Table Rock Lake.</div> <div>           Before leaving for the Feast this year, we had some encouraging news from the government of Kenya.  They sent us a certificate showing we are officially registered as the "Church of God, In Truth" in their country.  We had been working on this project for several months.  This will help open the door for members there to meet officially together. With this being the last "Prove All Things" for the Gregorian year 2004, I want to make you aware that those keeping the Hebrew Calendar dates for observing what they think is God's Holy Day dates will be following the fictitious tradition of<U> mans intercalated leap year</U>.   Next year, 2005, is considered a “leap year”  like 1997 was and 2008 will be. This up coming year 2005 is not postponing God's appointed time by just a day or two, but will postpone God's Holy Day Sabbaths by a full month!  Keep in mind God's Sabbaths are a <U>sign</U> of His called people (Exo. 31:13-14).  These Holy Day Sabbaths are not work days!</div> <div>      With prophesied events now rapidly approaching.  This is not the time to be asleep! TODAY IS A DAY OF GREAT DECEPTION and there is cause for concern.  The end of this age is now very near.  This is the hour that we need spiritual discernment and understanding.  This is the hour we need deliverance from strong delusion.  This is the hour to be aware of snares set by the "deceiver" for those who are asleep! "But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.  For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.  For when they shall say, <U>Peace and safety</U>; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.  But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.  Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober" (1 Thess. 5:1-4,6).</div> <div>          As God's firstfruits, it is our duty and responsibility to warn and alert God's scattered brethren to the events about to unfold in 2005.</div> <div>      Prophecy and chronology clearly indicate that <U>this</U> is the generation upon which the end of the age has come.  Joel the prophet, recognized the great and terrible day of the Lord in our generation.  "Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming, for it is at hand" (Joel 2:1).  It behooves the Churches of God to rouse from their spiritual lethargy and seek repentance and humiliation.  Too many of them feel rich and in need of nothing, looking at money as a blessing rather then God's truth as the blessing. </div> <div>      As we, the Church of God, In Truth, patiently await the dawn of a new era, it is essential we continue to proclaim the facts and sound the alarm in an endeavor to arouse as many as possible to the up coming postponements in the years 2005 - 2010.</div> <div>      As God's practicing kings and priests, we cannot let down in our responsibility to humbly serve our brothers and sisters who are being warned now- months before the 2005 Passover.</div> <div>           Let's read some inspired instructions and get the answers from God's Word of why I am saying this.  "Now the Lord spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying, "Let the children of Israel keep the Passover at its appointed time.  On the fourteenth day of this month, at twilight, you shall keep it at its appointed time.  According to all its rites and ceremonies you shall keep it" (Num. 9:1-3).  On the 14th day at midnight [not the 15th day at midnight] the Lord passed over Egypt and smote all the first born who did not have blood on their door posts.  "For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when He seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.  And it came to pass, that at midnight [of the 14<FONT SIZE="1" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Times New Roman" >th</FONT>] the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle" (Exo. 12:23, 29).</div> <div>           We are given clear instructions when the first Passover is to be kept "in its appointed time." But what about those who have been warned and are morally pure having God's Holy Spirit, yet they follow Judaism by adhering to the instructions from the Hebrew calendar [which they call “God's sacred Calender”] and not God's Word? The results? They will keep Passover a month later-closer to the time for the second Passover, thereby postponing the Lord's first Passover.  "But the man who is clean and is not on a j oumey, and ceases to keep the Passover, that same person shall be cut off from among his people, because he did not bring the offering of the Lord at its appointed time; that man shall bear his sin" (Num. 9:13).  Passover is to be kept in its appointed time, at the beginning of spring not in the middle of spring.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Is God pleased with those who partake of the second Passover?</B></div> <bR> <div>           The purpose for the second Passover was because the priests [ministers] and their congregations were unprepared, unclean, and <U>not ready </U>for the first Passover.  "And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and also wrote letters to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the Lord at Jerusalem, to keep the Passover to the Lord God of Israel.  For the king and his leaders and all the congregation in Jerusalem had agreed to keep the Passover in the second month.  For they could not keep it at that time, because a sufficient number of <U>priests had not sanctified themselves</U>, nor had the people gathered together at Jerusalem.  And the matter pleased the king and all the congregation" (2 Chron. 30:1-4).  This second Passover pleased the king, the priests and the people, but there is no mention of it pleasing God.  It was because of Hezekiah, not the people, that the Lord pardoned them and accepted their second Passover.  "For a multitude of the people, many from Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the Passover contrary to what was written.  But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, "May the good Lord provide atonement for everyone who prepares his heart to seek God, the Lord God of his fathers, though he is not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary.  And the Lord listened to Hezekiah and healed the people" (2 Chron. 30:18-20).</div> <div>           This is the same scenario that is going to take place at the Passover in 2005 & 2008.  The difference now, God is going to seal only those who will obey His Word and keep the Passover in its appointed time as He requires!</div> <div>           The book of Hosea, which is numbered among the minor prophets because of the shortness of the book, is by no means secondary in its importance.  Hosea provides a telescopic preview of the march of Israel down through the pages of history.  Hosea warns the people of impending judgment for their sins, making it clear to them that they would not escape punishment if they persisted in transgressing the commandments, statutes and judgments of the Lord and be partaking of idolatrous practices of the nations around them.  Hosea reminds Israel of their willful ignorance by saying: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.  Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for me because you have forgotten the law of your God.  I also will forget your children" (Hosea 4:6).</div> <div>           What was the knowledge people were rejecting? "They do not direct their deeds toward turning to their God.  With their flocks and herds they shall go to seek the Lord, but they will not find Him; He has withdrawn Himself from them.  They have dealt treacherously with the Lord, for they have begotten pagan  children.  <B>Now </B><B><U>a month shall devour them </U></B><U>and their heritage</U>.  The princes of Judah were like them that <B><U>remove the boundary: </U></B>therefore I will pour out my wrath upon them like water"" (Hosea 5:4, 6,7,10).  They were practicing syncretism, committing idolatry with other gods, mixing religious practices with the true God.  It was the princes of Judah [the Pharisees] of today that have removed the boundary of God's Holy Days. <U>The New Amplified Bible puts more depth and meaning into verses 7 and 10</U>.  Vs 7, "They have dealt faithlessly and treacherously with the Lord (their espoused Husband), for they have borne alien children.  Now shall a (single) new moon--one month--devour them with their fields."  Verse 10, "The princes of Judah are like those who remove the landmark (the barrier between right and wrong): I will pour out My wrath upon them like water."</div> <div>      Let me quote to you out of the S.D.A. Bible Commentary, Vol. 4, page 902: Under the title of "now shall a month devour them." <I>"Some have suggested that this implies that only a short time remains before the</I> <I>destruction of the kingdom.  According to the alternative translation of the R. S. V. Now the new moon shall</I> <I>devour them.  The meaning is conveyed that their sacrificial feasts celebrated at that season will not save them</I> <I>from divine wrath.  The whole chapter is a record of the peoples substitution of idol worship for the worship</I> <I>of God, and this passage may thus be an allusion to the substitution that had been forced upon the nation of</I> <I>Jeroboam"(I Kings 12:32-33).</I>”  Jeroboam postponed God's feast by a month keeping it in the eighth month and not the seventh month as God commanded<I>.  </I>   </div> <div>          Jeremiah was inspired to prophesy about the abomination that the children of Judah have set in the Churches of God.  "For the LORD hath rejected and forsaken the generation of His wrath" (Jer. 7:29).  We are living today in that generation when God is going to pour out His wrath on those that postpone His annual Holy Days and continue practicing syncretism.  "For the children of Judah have done evil in My sight, saith the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by My name, to <U>pollute</U> it" (Jer. 7:30).  God uses this same word "abominations" in describing the abomination that makes desolate in Daniel 12:11. What abominable and polluted thing has Judah influenced into God's Church today? Remember, God is addressing Judah, not the Catholic Church.  We know the Catholic Church is responsible for changing the seventh day Sabbath to Sunday.  But now we just read where Judah has polluted God's house, The Church of God.  "But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth" (1 Tim. 3:15).  Pollute means: to be foul, especially in a ceremony, contaminated, ethically unclean, wrong doing.  "For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews: Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men" (I Thess. 2:14-15).  Passover 2005 according to mans traditions is a postponement year when reading the rules of the Hebrew calendar.</div> <div>           Those who postpone Passover in 2005 by one month will find as Hosea stated in verses 6-7 of Chapter 5, "They [the shepherds] shall go with their flocks and herds (congregations) they shall go to seek the Lord, but they will not find Him; He has withdrawn Himself from them.  They have dealt treacherously with the Lord, for they have begotten pagan children.  Now <U>a month shall devour them and their heritage"</U> (Hosea 5:6-7).  It behooves you to "PROVE ALL THINGS" before it is too late.</div> <div>      Passover 2004 was considered a postponement year.  The Lord's Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread were kept three days late and the fall Holy Days two day late by those who followed the Hebrew calendar which comes from the oral laws of Judaism.</div> <div>      Jesus Christ sacrificed His life's blood for us.  Christ stated as He dealt with Israel in His capacity as God of the Old Testament: "Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are.  And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.  So this day shall be to you a memorial; and you shall keep it as a feast to the Lord throughout your generations.  You shall keep it as a feast by an everlasting ordinance.  And you shall observe this thing as an ordinance for you and your sons forever.  It will come to pass when you come to the land which the Lord will give you just as He promised, that you shall keep this service” (Exo. 12:13-14,24-25).</div> <div>       The lambs blood on the door posts was Israel's sign for protection during the time of the exodus.  Our sign today, God tells us, is the weekly Sabbath and annual Sabbaths on which we are to do no work! "Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily My Sabbaths ye shall keep: for <U>it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations</U>; that ye may know that <U>I am the LORD that doth sanctify you</U>.  Ye shall keep the Sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people" (Ex 31:13-14).</div> <div>      Now is the hour to repent [change]! Study God's word with fasting and prayer.  Let God's Holy Spirit lead you into truth from His Own Words- not the traditions of men!</div> <div>      Don't let Satan deceive you by postponing God's annual Holy Days [which are Sabbaths].  Prove to yourself when these appointed times are! You cannot serve two Gods.  Keeping Passover in the first month and then keeping Passover the second month is serving two Gods!!
